We appreciate the trust you place in us and want to inform you about how we are addressing the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.
We are closely monitoring events in our local community, the nation and worldwide and continually updating our policies and protocols according to new information. Please know that our office is following all recommended guidance from public health authorities, including best practices for hygiene, infection control and team member health. We feel confident in our ability to continue seeing patients and providing health care in the safe and high quality manner you expect and deserve.
Our highest priority is to keep everyone as safe as possible, including both patients and staff.
Therefore, we will be changing our hours starting Saturday, March 21 and will be in place until June 1st. New hours will be: Monday – Friday 9 am – 3 pm for acute illnesses only, 6 pm – 9 pm for well visits/physicals, Saturday 9 am – 12 pm for acute illnesses only, and closed on Sunday. We will be reevaluating each week, and could return to normal business hours at any time. If you are scheduled for a routine visit or a well visit during these times, we will call and reschedule that appointment for a later time/date once the crisis has passed.
If you need a med refill, we will refill routine meds by fax if you call your pharmacy and ask that they fax the request to us. Please call for any refills needing to be picked up from the office and we will call you when it is ready to be picked up.
At the recommendation of CDC, we are screening patients by asking you to answer the questions below:
- Do you have fever OR respiratory symptoms such as cough or shortness of breath?
AND
- Have you traveled to an affected geographic area within 14 days of symptom onset? (China, Iran, S. Korea, Europe, cruise ship or high risk sites in U.S.)
OR
- Have you had close contact with a person who traveled to high risk sites or has COVID-19?
Should you arrive at the office and meet these criteria, you will be isolated or asked to return to your car so we do not expose other patients and staff.
Thank you for your continued trust and loyalty as we navigate this situation together.
