- May 5th is WORLD HAND HYGIENE DAY. Frogs are thought to cause warts on your hands, but always think of a FROG when you wash your hands – Friction Rubs Off Germs !!!
- May is MENTAL HEALTH MONTH. Take time each day for yourself. You cannot take care of others if you don’t take care of yourself first!
- May is SKIN CANCER PREVENTION AND AWARENESS MONTH and May 21st is DON’T FRY DAY. So don’t be a fry baby! Use sunscreen every day – rain or shine. Don’t forget to reapply it frequently throughout daylight hours.
- May is NATIONAL PHYSICAL FITNESS AND SPORTS MONTH. Be sure to check all your sports equipment before each use whether practice, game, or competition. You can’t stay fit if your equipment is worn, torn, or doesn’t fit!
- May 31st is WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY. If you use tobacco products try cutting back. Regardless if you smoke 2 packs, 1 pack, or a half a pack – Just one less cigarette a day for a year is over 18 packs of cigarettes you will buy that year and nearly 2.2 MILLION fewer chemicals you will inhale!
